 May in Limes This May we worked really hard on big vs little and how things grow and change over time. We have started to prepare for graduation and the end of the year.

 April in Limes was so fun! We had such a good time participating in Week of the Young Child and planting flowers in the sensory garden. We learned about the different ways plants grow and what they need to survive. We had such good time in our inclusion playdate in the bananas classroom.

 March was filled with so many fun activities. We really enjoyed having our guest reader come in and read The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We also had a visit from Cary Police for our community helpers! Everyone loved having a turn sit in the police cars. We also rocked our socks for World Down Syndrome Day 2024!  

 February was filled with lots of learning and adventures! We had a great time on our FSP trip to Marbles Museum, celebrating 100 days in school, and Valentine’s Day. We can’t wait to see what March brings.

  Rainy day multipurpose room fun!      This month in Limes, we completed different winter activities. We counted how tall different animals are, learned about how people lived in the past and compared it to the present, talked about why people moved in the past and compared to today, and completed art activities. We have continued to have great participation during specials, whole group, and enjoy Letterland time. Our friends enjoyed our inclusion playdate in the Bananas classroom! We got to meet new friends and enjoyed playing bingo, blocks, restaurant, and making music with them! Inclusion playdate with Bananas Making soup over a "fire" in dramatic play Fine motor stringing

December in limes was so fun! We learned about different holidays and their traditions. We also completed fun art activities. We continued working on our letters, letter sounds, matching shapes, colors, and numbers. We have had great participation during specials time and whole group times! We are so proud of all the kids hard work as they have been growing in their communication with others. Everyone has been gaining more exposure playing in groups and taking turns with adult facilitation. We can’t wait to hear all about how everyone’s winter break was when we come back in January.
