January in Limes

  Rainy day multipurpose room fun!      This month in Limes, we completed different winter activities. We counted how tall different animals are, learned about how people lived in the past and compared it to the present, talked about why people moved in the past and compared to today, and completed art activities. We have continued to have great participation during specials, whole group, and enjoy Letterland time. Our friends enjoyed our inclusion playdate in the Bananas classroom! Winter fun!

December in limes was so fun! We learned about different holidays and their traditions. We also completed fun art activities. We continued working on our letters, letter sounds, matching shapes, colors, and numbers. We have had great participation during specials time and whole group times! We are so proud of all the kids hard work as they have been growing in their communication with others. Everyone has been gaining more exposure playing in groups and taking turns with adult facilitation. We can’t wait to hear all about how everyone’s winter break was when we come back in January. November in Limes

 Hello parents! November was exciting! We had a blast learning about giving means, what being thankful means, and creating different art projects. Everyone has done well participating in whole group activities and working on communicating with others and peer interactions. We had a great time seeing animals on the farm FSP day, building with blocks, completing work, and hanging out in our sensory area in the classroom.

Cookie decorating This month in limes, we have continued to work on following our schedules and daily routine. We learned about why the leaves change color and created some pretty leaf art. We went on a leaf hunt and completed a leaf investigation based off the leaves we found outside. We had a really fun time painting pumpkins, completing matching fall tasks, and decorating cookies! We continue to work on expressing our emotions and what figuring out what they mean. We listened to a story and some songs to help work on expressing our emotions. Everyone is doing a great job finding ways they communicate with adults. We are so proud of the continued growth everyone shows. September in Limes

 Hello families! Limes have been busy this month! We have been working on learning our daily routine. Everyone is showing growth on their communication skills. We have been working on learning what the expectations are in the Limes. We have greatly improved our sitting skills during whole group time. We will continue to work on our communication skills and our ability to sit during whole group activities. Our interactions with peers have increased. We are continuing to work on self-regulation and expressing emotions in an appropriate way. We are excited to start our fall theme starting with leaves, why they change colors, etc. and many other fall related themes! Ms. Micah, Mr. Israel, and Ms. LaShonda
