This May we worked really hard on big vs little and how things grow and change over time. We have started to prepare for graduation and the end of the year.
Rainy day multipurpose room fun! This month in Limes, we completed different winter activities. We counted how tall different animals are, learned about how people lived in the past and compared it to the present, talked about why people moved in the past and compared to today, and completed art activities. We have continued to have great participation during specials, whole group, and enjoy Letterland time. Our friends enjoyed our inclusion playdate in the Bananas classroom! We got to meet new friends and enjoyed playing bingo, blocks, restaurant, and making music with them! Inclusion playdate with Bananas Making soup over a "fire" in dramatic play Fine motor stringing
Cookie decorating This month in limes, we have continued to work on following our schedules and daily routine. We learned about why the leaves change color and created some pretty leaf art. We went on a leaf hunt and completed a leaf investigation based off the leaves we found outside. We had a really fun time painting pumpkins, completing matching fall tasks, and decorating cookies! We continue to work on expressing our emotions and what figuring out what they mean. We listened to a story and some songs to help work on expressing our emotions. Everyone is doing a great job finding ways they communicate with adults. We are so proud of the continued growth everyone shows. Ms. Micah, Ms. LaShonda, and Mr. Israel Some dog therapy Inclusion play date in Bananas A blast with the farmer and pig!
February was filled with lots of learning and adventures! We had a great time on our FSP trip to Marbles Museum, celebrating 100 days in school, and Valentine’s Day. We can’t wait to see what March brings.
